Virtual Motorcars

So what does a speeder enthusiast in snowy West Michigan do during the winter? One way to eat up those winter days and nights is virtual track patrol along some of the premier railroad routes in the country. How to do such? Adding a motor car to Microsoft Train Simulator allows one to ride the rails while the blizzard blows outside. Here I am speeding through Marias Pass, first in summer and then in winter:

And here I am on the East Coast Mainline!!!

It's pretty amusing. Don't exceed the track speed though or you will derail the car!
