CVRTC was formed in the summer of 1992. We have over 100 members. The Cotton Valley Rail Trail Club is an association of railway motorcar enthusiasts dedicated to preserving railroad motorcar history and right-of-way maintenance through active operation and stewardship. CVRTC maintains and operates on a 12 mile corridor owned by the State of New Hampshire. Members must maintain a current NH OHRV registration to operate on rails managed by the State Bureau of Trails. CVRTC has members throughout New England of which most are also members of NARCOA. |

We are Part of this National Railway Historical Society and have a small but growing membership and motorcar owners. Most now belong to Narcoa and are insured. We operate excursions in Kentucky and Ohio, and will operate in Michigan in 2001. Membership is required in the Historical Society, and we encourage membership in Narcoa and other motorcar organizations such as Ohio Valley Railcar. Contact Don Maxwell

We started in 1999. We lease a 9 1/2 mile line off the
province of New Brunswick. The line runs between Nackawic
and Millville, just north of Fredericton, NB. Visitors
are always welcome with some notification. We have relaid
eight pieces of track that the local snowmobile club removed
for their trails. |
