SOLD (Nov 11, 05) MI - M19F1. Originally sold to the Peoria & Pekin Union RR (per Harsco records). Equipped with rubber-tread rear wheels (very good condition) and flange brakes. The ROC engine runs and has very good compression. The body panels are very good (no glass, but all the rubber) and the roof is excellent. This is a very restorable car. It needs a hand-crank and a coil (both were missing when I bought the car), and the condenser needs some TLC. Everything else is there and works. Included with the car is an adjustable steel restoration stand with steel wheels. It puts the frame 30" above the floor for easy work, and the assembly can be moved when needed. These cars were specially built at the railroads request to accommodate roadmasters when they were doing their own inspection and were equipped with Kohler 24 hp engines and higher gearing for better road speed.
